Our Facility

DSC02276Our building was purpose built for child care.

Special consideration went into its construction. It was built up high from the road so as if there was ever a traffic problem or accident, the cars could not end up in the child care and injure children. A convenient car park was also built up so it is safe for parents to park.

Rooms

We have a Babies room with 2 cot rooms, a toddler’s room, and a Big Kids room. You will notice how large they are. This was designed so that if it is too hot or too cold outside, and the children play inside, there is room for play.

DSC02277Designed for Child Care

Our building is positioned on the land to make maximum advantage of the northerly sun in winter and shade it from the southerly summer sun.

Summer

The building has a high metal roof to reflect and has triple insulation to keep the building cool. On warm days overhead fans are provided and in extreme conditions the air conditioning is turned on. It is our aim to keep the environment as comfortable, natural and environmentally friendly as possible.

Winter

DSC02280The building catches the northerly winter sun. Gas heaters keep the building warm and roller shutters can be left down to keep the warmth in.

Doors

Have you ever caught your finger in a door? We have rubber on the edges of the doors to stop these injuries. There are also many half doors so managers and staff can get a better view.

Windows

There are many windows (laminated glass) allowing better supervision at all times.

Gas Dryer

All washing carried out on site is dried in a very hot gas dryer to prevent the spread of disease.
